Minor Cannabinoid & Ingredient Index
CBC
Decompress
CBC binds to vanilloid receptor 1 (TRPV1) and transient receptor potential ankyrin 1 (TRPA1). These receptors are linked to pain perception and the release of anandamide. CBC is found in our Lingua™ product line. CBC has a growing body of positive evidence relating to use as an Anti-inflammatory, Antidepressant, Antinociceptive, Neuroprotector, and much more.
Vitamin C
Natures Nurse
Vitamin C is an essential nutrient involved in the repair of tissue, the formation of collagen in bones, and the enzymatic production of certain neurotransmitters. Vitamin C is also vital to your body's healing process. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps protect your cells against the effects of free radicals.
D8THC
Joy and Bliss
D8THC is the main cannabinoid in our Purple minor cannabinoid blend. It is being studied for its psychoactive properties and its effectiveness as antiemetic, anxiolytic, appetite-stimulating, analgesic, and for its possible neuroprotective properties. Delta-8 THC binds with the CB1 receptor, similar to Delta-9 THC.
THCV
THC On Speed
While the rare so-called “sports-car cannabinoid” THCV may be similar to THC molecularly, it seems to provide a variety of different effects from it’s near cousin THC. THCV has been studied for use as an appetite suppressant, for regulation of blood sugar levels, the reducing of panic attacks, inflammation reduction, bone growth stimulation, and more.
Vitamin E
Shield and Protect
Vitamin E is a nutrient that's important to vision, reproduction, and the health of your blood, brain and skin. Vitamin E also has antioxidant properties. Antioxidants are substances that might protect your cells against the effects of free radicals, which are molecules produced when your body breaks down food or is exposed to tobacco smoke and radiation.
CBDA
Bring it Down
Available in our Lingua™ Tinctures, CBDA is found in the raw hemp plant, and is the acidic precursor to CBD. CBDA is decarboxylated into the more commonly known CBD compound when vaporized. It can also decarboxylate by other means of heating. CBDA has been studied for its effects on nausea, inflammation, and as an anti-tumor compound.
CBG
Thanks Mom
CBG is the parent molecule from which other cannabinoids are synthesized. During plant growth, most CBG is converted into other cannabinoids like CBD. CBG has been or is being studied for treatment of Glaucoma, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Anti-Inflammatory Disorders, Epilepsy, Chronic Pain, and more.
Vitamin B6
Building Block
Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) is important for normal brain development and for keeping the nervous system and immune system healthy. Food sources of vitamin B6 include poultry, fish, potatoes, chickpeas, bananas and fortified cereals. Vitamin B6 can also be taken as a supplement, typically as an oral capsule, tablet or liquid.
